Best Station-Sponsored Community Event
Submit information on a one-time or continuing event that reflects a station’s total effort in all programming. Can include community awareness, fundraising events and station promotions. Include a description of the project, photos or news clippings (not mandatory), and up to 5 minutes of audio clips. The amount of revenue generated or money raised will not impact the judges’ decision.
Best On-Air Audience Promotion
Submit no more than 3 minutes of a station-produced audience builder. Can include contests, events and giveaways. The value of the prize will not impact the judges’ decision.
Best Station Image Promo
Submit a promo, not to exceed :60, produced to enhance station image. Can include promo for station contest conducted to build listenership or for a program.
Best Production/Creative Services Director
Submit a compilation CD with your best work. CD should be no more than 5 minutes in length and should reflect creativity and style.
Best Radio Station Webpage
Submit the web address (URL) of the specific webpage from the radio station’s website along with a copy of its homepage. The entry can be the webpage for an individual on-air talent or show, station event, etc. Since entrants will not be aware of when the page will be judged, it is advised that the page be current and ready for judging. Submission of more than one webpage requires a separate entry form and fee for each page. No CD required.
Best Station Marketing
On station letterhead, submit a one-page description of marketing goals, strategy and execution. Include applicable examples: photos of billboards or vehicles, posters, postal mailings, email printouts, custom specialty items, audio and video clips and any other pertinent material. No CD required.
Best Integrated Promotion/Programming
An award for the best use of over-the-air broadcast, including: text or instant messaging, email, webcast, podcast, print, outdoor, television, station contest, event, programming or promotional feature, giveaway, etc. Submit up to 3 minutes of audio plus descriptive paragraph of 100 words or less.
Best Integrated Promotion/Sales
An award for the best use of over-the-air broadcast, including: text or instant messaging, email, webcast, podcast, print, outdoor, or television—with the goal of each being to deliver or enhance results for one or more advertisers. Submit up to 3 minutes of audio plus descriptive paragraph of 100 words or less.
